Prime+ Grip – Rapid Drying Bond-Enhancing Primer

Prime+ Grip is a ready-mixed, ready-to-use primer designed to improve adhesion between difficult substrates and tile adhesives, smoothing compounds and self-levelling products. It is suitable for both internal and external applications.

Its textured grip finish creates a strong bonding surface, making it particularly suitable for smooth and non-absorbent backgrounds, including existing ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles, flooring-grade asphalt and bitumen, steel, thermoplastic tiles and FAST One Coat DPM.

The rapid-drying formula allows tiling or levelling to begin in as little as 15 minutes, depending on site conditions and ambient temperature.

Prime+ Grip can also be applied to porous substrates where required. In these applications, it helps consolidate and stabilise the surface, providing an improved base for smoothing and levelling compounds.
